February 2012 – Rabi' Al-Awwal//Rabi' Al-Thani 1433 Hijri   


  • Note: Rabi' Al-Thani 1433 Hijri (4th Hijri Month of the New Islamic Hijri Year 1433), according to Makka calculations, is expected to start on Thursday, 2/23/2012.
  • Note: Friday Fiqh Class every Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. just before the start of the Friday Khutba for both men and women (Arabic/English).
  • Note: Friday (Jumu'a) prayer is held regularly every Friday at 1:30 p.m. regardless of time change all year long at ICSA. Friday prayer time is not affected by daylight savings time ending and/or beginning.
  • Note: Muslim Youth Class is held every Friday at 8:00 p.m. after Isha prayer in the Cafeteria. Class is divided into two age groups (English/Interactive Class).
  • Note: Arabic Language and Qur'an Reading for Beginners is held every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at ICSA for women.
  • Note: Advanced Arabic Language and Qur'an Reading for women is held every Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at ICSA.
  • Note: Islamic Studies Halaqa (Lessons from the Qur'an and the Sunnah) for women is held every Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at ICSA (English).
  • Note: Islamic Studies Halaqa for men and women is held regularly every Saturday in the Islamic Center at 8:00 p.m. after Isha prayer (Arabic/Translation).
  • Note: Islamic Weekend School for boys and girls (Ages 5 – 12) is held every Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at ICSA in the cafeteria and the Islamic Center.
  • Note: Advanced Arabic Language Class (Grammar and Etymology) for women is held every Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at ICSA.
  • Note: Beginners Arabic Language Class (Grammar) for women is held every Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at ICSA.
  • Note: Advanced Youth/Adult Islamic Studies Class is held every Sunday at 7:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria (Men & Women in English).
  • Note: Islamic Studies Halaqa and Qur'an Tajweed Class for women is held regularly every Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. in the women's prayer hall (Arabic Language).
  • Note: Islam 101 Class for new & non-Muslims (men & women) is held every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in the women's prayer section (English).
  • Note: Daily Short Islamic/Imani Talk (Khatira) is held after Isha prayer everyday except on Halaqa/Lesson days (Arabic/English).
  • Note: Us-Suffa Academy full-time daily Qur'an Hifz program & after school and weekend Nazara program at the Islamic Center of San Antonio is held in the Cafeteria and the Masjed.
  • Note: IASA Full-Time Islamic School for boys & girls (Toddlers/18 months to 6th grade) Monday to Friday. IASA is licensed and recognized by the state of Texas; and accredited by AdvancEd's SACS/CASI.
