Dates & Times:
Summer school will start on Monday, June
11th, 2007 and will end on Friday, July 20th, 2007. Daily class schedule
will be from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (Monday - Thursday) and from 8:30
a.m. - 12:00 p.m. on (Fridays). Drop-off time from 8:45 a.m. to 9:00
a.m. and pick-up time is from 2:15 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., but from 12:00
p.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Fridays.
Tuition:
Tuition will be $300.00 per student at time
of registration for the entire six-week period. This is a one-time
tuition payment for the one month & a half summer program.
Registration:
Registration for the summer program will
start on Friday, May4th, 2007. Registration forms are available at the
office as of Friday, 5/4/2007. Please note that limited seats are
available on a first come first served basis, so reserve your spot now.
Please note that there is no deadline on registration for the summer
school as long as seats are available.
Subjects offered:
- Qur'an (reading, recitation,
memorization, tajweed and tafseer).
- Arabic Language (phonics, vocabulary,
conversation, reading and writing).
- Islamic Studies (ibadat, manners,
morals, seerah, pillars of Islam and iman/aqeeda).
- Fun and extra-curricular activities,
field trips, educational fun games and entertainment.
Ages/Grades:
Pre-School ( 3 years old & potty trained )
thur 9th Grade ( 14 years old ).
Daily Lunch:
Srudents need to bring their own lunch box
daily (lunch meal, snacks, juice & water bottle), but on Fridays, the
school will offer pizza lunch with juice and snack for $3.00/student.
Uniform:
No uniform is required in the summer
program, but students must dress properly and adhere to proper Islamic
dress code and wear long pants, no shorts, casual shoes, and no slippers
or sandals. All girls in 4th grade and up must have their Hijab (head
cover), and long sleeves.
Salat/Prayer:
Thuhr preayer will be performed daily except
on Fridays in the summer program schedule.
